Problem
Why does the stock twist throttle
not perform well enough?
  • Whiskey Throttle
Motorcycle-style throttles can trigger “panic twisting” — an involuntary increase in throttle input in stressful situations.
  • Wrist fatigue
Classic thumb throttles can quickly lead to finger fatigue when used for extended periods during long rides.
  • Vibrations
Vibrations from uneven surfaces are transmitted to the throttle lever, reducing control precision and comfort.
Solution
Nucular Throttle —
Engineered for Control
Compatibility
The thoughtfully engineered design ensures full compatibility with brake levers while preserving their complete range of motion. The design ensures a linear response across the entire travel range. When paired with Nucular controllers, the response thresholds can be fine-tuned, either automatically or manually.
Comfortable
The ergonomic throttle features an integrated top support that provides a solid resting point for the thumb, allowing it to be securely positioned at any point in the lever travel. This ensures precise, comfortable control while reducing thumb fatigue during sustained input.
Ergonomic
The ergonomics are built around a natural hand grip. The throttle housing serves as a hand support, positioning the palm on the grip and providing a secure, comfortable resting point that conforms to the shape of the hand.
Universal
You can choose between left- and right-handed versions. We've thought about hand sizes, so the set includes three easily interchangeable thumb levers of different sizes.

Important: For full trigger functionality, a Nucular controller or any controller with adjustable trigger thresholds is recommended. Without automatic or manual calibration, functionality may be limited.
Installation in 6 steps
Preparing the handlebar
Remove the grip and loosen the screws of the brake levers and controls.
Installing the trigger
Pull the trigger lever, loosen the M4 screw at the front. Place the trigger on the handlebars, and return it to the grip.
Positioning
Slide the trigger over the grip until it stops. Position the brake levers comfortably and tighten them. Rotate the trigger around the handlebar until your thumb rests on the support surface.
Fixation
Tighten the M4 screw, being careful not to overtighten it to avoid damaging the plastic.
Connection
Route the cable to the display or controller. Pinout: black (-), red (+), yellow (signal). PHD connector included.
Calibration
Perform automatic tuning or manually set the trigger thresholds. The lower threshold is slightly above the idle signal, and the upper threshold is the signal when fully pressed.
Take part in testing
We're offering a limited number of prototypes for testing.
Left- and right-handed versions are available, with the trigger acting as either a throttle or brake.
